Hunky Hollywood actor Ian Somerhalder is one of the most handsome men in Hollywood today, so it is no surprise that we have seen the star enjoying a very successful acting career, appearing in a whole host of top television shows and movies during his career. With that said, Ian has probably become best known for playing the role of Damon in the hit The CW series The Vampire Diaries.
While Ian Somerhalder continues in his role as Damon in The Vampire Diaries, with the show still going very strong, he is one of those stars who loves to use his time on hiatus, away from the show, working on new movie projects. The next film that we are likely to see Ian starring in, is the planned movie project Zorra, which is currently in the development stages.
While there is still some development to be done on the new film, Zorra has already been officially described as, "A struggling sculptor- surrounded by drugs, sex and mystery- fights to find her voice amidst an unforgiving New York City artist community." Let's hope that this moves into production in the very near future.
As well as having Ian Somerhalder attached to the project, Zorra also has other top names linked to roles in the movie, including the likes of Travis Fimmel, Ben Kingsley, and Daniela Lavender. Meanwhile, Zach LeBeau penned the script for Zorra, with Kari Skogland attached to direct the film. We will keep you updated with the progress on this project.
