It has been reported that Ice Cube has decided to return to the hit movie franchise Friday and he is bringing back Chris Tucker with him. It has been nearly 10 years since the last Friday movie and has been over 16 years since the first Friday movie, which starred Chris Tucker.
Chris Tucker refused to take part in the Friday sequels for religious and anti-drugs reasons but it is believed that this will be addressed with his character Smokey in the new Friday movie. Another person set to return is Tiny Lister, who played the bully Deebo in Friday.
Ice Cube will once again write the screenplay for the new Friday movie, as well as starring in it and it has been claimed that he will also be directing this latest instalment. As of yet the new Friday movie is untitled but how about Last Friday? Sounds good to us.
