Australian actor David Wenham will appear, next year, in the film “300: Rise of an Empire”, which is a follow-up to the 2007 comic based movie “300”.

David Wenham will appear in 300 sequel
David is one of the few original cast members that returned back to the storyline sensation that managed to garner more than $465 million USD worldwide. He will be portraying his anterior role—Dilios. This sequel will take place in the past, present and future of the first movie. Some of the new actors and actresses that will be playing alongside Mr. Wenham are Callan Mulvey, Eva Green, Jack O’Connell, Hans Matheson and Sullivan Stapleton.
Director Zack Snyder who directed the first film will not be directing the sequel—this will now be performed by Jewish director Noam Murro. This time around, Mr. Snyder opted to only be the screenplay writer—alongside seasoned writer Kurt Johnstad. Music will be composed by veteran producer Tom Holkenborg.

This movie is scheduled to be released in 3D and IMAX 3D on March 7, 2014 in the United States. Everybody has high expectations for this film—including David. Will this film be able to top the first one? That is a question many individuals might be asking themselves. Some American sequels tend to do pretty well amongst the picky critics and the public—while other end up being complete disappointments...only time will tell.
