The world is full of beautiful women, so it is no surprise that the modelling industry is bigger and better than it has ever been before and is still continuing to grow all the time. One of the most beautiful models in the industry today would have to be the Russian beauty Irina Shayk, who has been at the top of her modelling game for many years now.
Irina Shayk grew up in a small village in Russia, before she realised that she was actually a very beautiful young woman and decided to head of to Paris to chase her dream of becoming a supermodel. Now, Irina has opened up about growing up in that small village, as well as what it was like to leave home so young.
Shayk explained, "I was born and raised in a small village, and I didn't even think I was especially pretty. At 14, I'd have given my left arm to be a boy: I thought I was horrible, and that no-one would ever find me attractive."
She added, "When I arrived in Paris for the first time. I was 20, and I had nothing to wear and nothing to eat. I remember how embarrassed I felt in front of the other models because of how I was dressed."
Since those early days, Irina Shayk has gone on to become one of the top models in the world, working with some of the biggest names in the modelling world. As well as that, Irina has also bagged herself one of the hottest men in the world, as she is currently dating Hollywood superstar Bradley Cooper.
