Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has come under a lot of criticism this season right from the word go and it seems that things are getting continually worse. The press have been on Arsene Wenger’s back since Arsenal lost 8-2 to Manchester United earlier in the season and the pressure has continued to mount, as the fans appear to be starting to lose faith in their leader.
Now, it has been reported that Arsene Wenger is also beginning to lose the support of the dressing room, with a number of the senior players becoming disgruntled with the Frenchman. Robin Van Persie appeared to disapprove of Arsene’s decision to take of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain at the weekend, although the Dutch striker has since claimed that, that was not the case.
There is also the case of Thomas Vermaelen, who is believed to have been annoyed by the fact that Arsene Wenger did not let him know that he would be playing at left back until very late on. With a lack of support from the press, a waning support from the fans and what could be an player revolt on his hands, it could well be the beginning of the end for Arsene Wenger.
