There have been a number of rumours over the years about the sexuality of Hollywood star James Franco and whether he is gay or not. Now, James has opened up about the gay rumours, claiming that he has had it since his school days and that he does not really care what people think.
James Franco is also rumoured to be dating Ashley Benson
During a chat with MTV, Franco explained, In high school these girls got mad at me and so they spread this rumour that I was having a gay relationship with one of my closest friends. And they even made up a little dance they would do in the girl's locker room about me being gay.
He added, “I still don't know what the dance was. It wasn't like it was anything new. And, in fact, it wasn't something that frightened me. If people think that, it's fine. I really don't care.”

As well as the rumours of James Franco being gay, there have also been reports that he is dating his Spring Breakers co-star Ashley Benson, although these have not yet been confirmed or denied. James will next appear on the big screen in the movie Oz the Great and Powerful, which is set to be released on March 8.
