Jackass star Ryan Dunn has died after crashing his car in the early hours of the morning (Monday, June 20). The crash took place in Pennsylvania and it is believed that Dunn may have been speeding at the time. A passenger in the vehicle also died.
Ryan’s 2007 Porsche 911 GT3 was found in the woods engulfed in flames. West Goshen Township Police reported, "Speed may have been a contributing factor to the accident. Upon arrival, police located one vehicle off the road and in the woods that was fully engulfed in flames."
President of MTV Networks Music/Film Group, Van Toffler said, "We are devastated by the tragic loss of Ryan Dunn, a beloved member of the MTV family for more than a decade. He made us all laugh and had the tireless enthusiastic approach to life of your favourite middle school friend. Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Ryan's family and friends. The Jackass brotherhood will never be the same."
Ryan Dunn was a regular star on the Jackass TV series and also played an integral role in all three of the Jackass movies. He also appeared in the spin off reality TV series Viva La Bam, which also starred the majority of the Jackass cast. R.I.P. Ryan Dunn, gone but never forgotten.
