Once upon a time there were only certain television channels and networks which showed scripted television shows. However, times have changed and channels which we would never have expected to have seen scripted shows on, are now pushing them out one after the other.

It was quite a surprise to see the History channel pushing out scripted shows but they have experienced success with the likes of Vikings and The Bible. Meanwhile, VH1, which we are used to giving us great music shows, has also given us some scripted shows.
The latest show to be given by VH1 comes in the form of Hit the Floor, which was created by James LaRosa. The cast of the show includes Logan Browning, Dean Cain and Kimberly Elise and James admits that he is delighted to have amassed such an impressive cast.

LaRosa explained, "The casting of this show was as intense as the stories in it. I was thrilled to have amassed this collection of wonderful people. I’m completely lucky to have those actors at the head of the ship."
Hit the Floor airs on VH1 on Monday nights, with the next episode airing on June 17.
