It is no secret that we have not been impressed with what we have seen from the DC Extended Universe so far, and we are not too hopeful about what we are going to get in the future, unless something does change in quite a big way. However, while we are still worried about what the writers and directors are going to do with our beloved characters, we have to admit that there is one star we are really looking forward to seeing.

There were many rumours for many years, that we were going to get to see Jason Momoa in the role of Aquaman in the DCEU, which he denied for a long time, before it was finally, officially announced. Now though, Jason has spoken about landing the role of Aquaman, admitting that he has known that he was going to play the character since the very beginning, even before the rumours really began to spread.
Momoa was chatting to the guys over at The Hollywood Reporter, when he revealed to them, "I knew I had the role in late 2012 or early 2013. I was trying to get any role I could, and not having much luck. So, knowing what your future is going to be in the next five or six years and having to keep your mouth shut is brutal."

Well we have to admit that we are very excited about getting to see Jason Momoa in the role of Aquaman in the DC Extended Universe and we are very optimistic that he could well be the one to bring things back around. We will keep everything crossed that Warner Bros. and DC do not ruin another of our favourite characters.
