There have been plenty of rumours surrounding the movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, ever since the moment that it was announced the movie was being made. Most of the rumours have been about which characters we will see in the film, along with which stars would be perfect for playing the roles.

Jena Malone has been rumoured as playing Robin
One of the rumours that has been doing the rounds for quite a while now, is that we will see Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice give us a female version of Robin, with actress Jena Malone being tipped for the role. Jena has being keeping pretty quiet about whether or not she will actually be involved in the movie and it looks like she is showing no signs of changing.
Malone was asked by MovieFone whether she could give any details on her involvement with the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice movie, to which she responded, "Ummmm... no." The conversation then took a bit of a different turn, with Jena Malone being asked about the lack of strong female role models in the comic book genre.

Jena Malone stars in The Hunger Games
Malone added, "I don't think that it's bereft. I mean look at "Hunger Games" -- are you kidding me?" When it was pointed out that The Hunger Games is not a comic book, she continued, "It doesn't matter. You're turning something into a film, you're creating a myth. What is a comic book but a written myth? I feel like there's so much negativity, but we create. We're still making things. It's not about having as much as they have, it's about continuing the conversation."
So, once again, Jena Malone has remained quiet as to whether or not we will actually see the actress appearing on the big screen as a female Robin in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. It does feel very similar to the responses we got from Jason Moma, before he was officially announced as Aquaman but we guess we will just have to wait for an official announcement one way or the other.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will open on March 25, 2016 in both the US and the UK.
