Estranged couple Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony put on a united front as they celebrated the live finale of their TV talent show on Saturday night (26May12), but Marc's cringeworthy attempt to smooch his ex wife made for awkward viewing.
J-Lo and the Latino singer Marc ended their seven-year marriage last year, and in April Anthony moved to make their separation official by filing for divorce.
But despite their split, the pair pushed forward with their earlier plans to shoot reality series Q'Viva! The Chosen this spring, and together the two toasted the programme's last episode at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. The pair walked out onto the stage hand-in-hand, proiving that they remain on good terms.
Both Jennifer and Marc showcased seperate performances, but they reunited on stage at the end of the evening to share a tender embrace. However, Marc took the friendly hug a step to far by trying to kiss his former wife in front of the audience. Jennifer awkwardly avoided the kiss, but the embarrassment on her face was plain for all to see.
Somewhat tellingly, Marc has also kept his wedding ring on, despite being single now for over ten months. Jennifer, meanwhile, has moved on with her toyboy lover, dancer Casper Smart.
Later that night, the beauty met up with Casper to celebrate the release of her new single Goin' In at nearby nightclub Hyde Bellagio.
