The Avengers actor Jeremy Renner has revealed how he is hoping for more involvement from his character Clint Barton aka Hawkeye in The Avengers sequel. Jeremy says that he is hoping for the possibility to explore his character a little bit more in The Avengers 2.

During an interview with MTV News, Renner explained, “It's what he was able to do with the first one. Now, there's more opportunities to explore the characters a little more, I think, for everybody. I think that's exciting.”
Jeremy also went on to talk about whether he had any ideas about the direction to take Clint Barton and whether he had offered any ideas to Joss Whedon about it. He said, “I'd screw things all up. We meet in the middle and we play kick the can.”

As well as Jeremy Renner, The Avengers 2 is expected to see the return of Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson and Samuel L. Jackson and is set to be released in both the US and the UK on May 1, 2015.
