Fans of Sin City were delighted, when it was announced that a sequel to the hit movie was being made and they have been eagerly awaiting the October release date. Unfortunately for these fans, they are going to have to wait a lot longer than anticipated, as the movies release date has been pushed back almost a year.

The Weinstein Company has confirmed that Sin City: A Dame to Kill For will no longer be released in October this year but, instead will hit the big screen on August 22, 2014. With the impressive ensemble cast, the movie should certainly be worth the wait.
As well as starring Jessica Alba and Juno Temple, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For also stars Mickey Rourke, Bruce Willis, Rosario Dawson, Jaime King, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Dennis Haysbert, Christopher Meloni, Jeremy Piven, Ray Liotta, Stacy Keach, and Julia Garner.

Sin City: A Dame to Kill For is once again written and directed by duo Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez, based on the graphic novels by Frank. With the new Sin City: A Dame to Kill For release date set for August 22, 2014, fans have almost a whole year extra to wait.
