There was once a time when Hollywood actor Will Smith was the most sought after actor in the business, following a string of hit movies including the very impressive Bad Boys, which went on to land a sequel. Fans of Will, and more importantly fans of the Bad Boys movies, have been calling for Bad Boys 3 to get made but it looks like that might now never happen.
Instead of a new Bad Boys movie starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, we are actually now going to get a Bad Boys spinoff TV series, which is going to focus on Sydney Burnett, played by the wonderful Gabrielle Union. As well as that, we are also going to see Hollywood beauty Jessica Alba playing an important role in this new project.
Jessica Alba not only has a role in the new Bad Boys spinoff show, playing the role of a married mother of two, but she is also going to work on the project as an executive producer. While many of the fans of the original Bad Boys movies feel like this new project is not going to work, Jessica and co. are convinced that they can make the show a huge success and that the fans will be happy with what the see.
Meanwhile, there have been rumours that we could actually see Will Smith and Martin Lawrence popping up to make a cameo appearance on the Bad Boys spinoff series, although nothing has been officially confirmed. What we do know is that we are going to see Zach Gilford, Ernie Hudson and Duane Martin starring in the show, and we cannot wait to see what they do with the project.
