It has been many years now, since we first saw the young and sweet Jessica Simpson first making a name for herself on the music scene, which has since opened up a number of doors for this beautiful and talented star. Jessica no longer focuses on her music work and has since gone on to try her hand at acting, as well as having plenty of involvement on the fashion scene.
Jessica Simpson has clearly found her calling with the fashion business, as she was recently honored at the YMA Fashion Scholarship Fund Gala. Jessica has now opened up about being honored at the event, admitting that she is sometimes surprised by receiving such praise,
Simpson was chatting to the good folks over at Extra, when she explained to them, "You know I just don't ever really understand being honoured because I'm just trying to get to the next place all the time. So, here I am just trying to get somewhere else.”
She added, "I think it's really just be yourself and don't be afraid of anything. You can do anything. I mean I have had so many fashion mistakes and I've had so many great ones but I also know how to dress people and I know like I have an eye for it, you know? It's just what your passion is, just don't ever not believe in it."
Jessica Simpson looked absolutely stunning at the event but there is no huge secret to her looking so great. The 35-year-old beauty says that she gets plenty of exercise, just from chasing her children around. We can definitely relate to that!
