Jessica Simpson met Eric Johnson back in May 2010 and the couple announced that they had become engaged in November of the same year. It was a very long engagement though, with Eric Johnson and Jessica Simpson finally tying the knot on July 5 of this year, and now Jessica has been talking about married life.
Simpson was a guest on the Today show, when she said of her marriage, "It is the most exciting time. Marriage has changed us in a lot of ways. We are a little more addicted to each other. There is a level of love that has reached the highest of highs."

Meanwhile, Jessica Simpson also opened up about her very public battle with her weight issues, specifically losing those 50 pounds before her wedding day. Jessica says that, while she has received a very positive response from her fans, she did not do it for them but wanted to feel more confident in herself.
Simpson added, "It wasn't my priority to please the public and make them feel like I'm supposed to be looking like when I was 25. I don't think that I wasn't still a sex symbol. To my husband I was extremely sexy. It empowered me to rise above and stand up for all the women out there that do have trouble losing the weight."
Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson also have two children together, Maxwell and Ace.
