Following the huge success of the hit British comedy television series The Inbetweeners, fans of the show called for a movie to be made, once the series came to an end. These fans were in for a treat, as The Inbetweeners Movie was made and lived up to the big expectations.

Due to the success of The Inbetweeners Movie, there was talk of a sequel being made and it was not long before The Inbetweeners Movie 2 went into development. Now, fans are delighted to learn that Joe Thomas, Simon Bird, James Buckley and Blake Harrison have started filming The Inbetweeners Movie 2.
The filming for the eagerly anticipated sequel began earlier this month in Australia, with the gang due to head back to the UK in January to continue filming. The Inbetweeners creators Iain Morris and Damon Beasley have teased fans what to expect from The Inbetweeners Movie 2.

They explained, "We can't say too much as we don't want to spoil the jokes for you, but what we can exclusively reveal is there will be kangaroos. And Australians. And possibly koalas. Oh, and obviously Jay, Will, Neil and Simon providing they're let into the country. Thanks so much for all your support, we're hoping to deliver a film that you'll enjoy even more than the last one."
The Inbetweeners Movie 2 will open in August 2014.
