With Warner Bros. and DC still trying to play catch up to what Marvel has managed to do with their cinematic universe, we are set to get plenty of exciting new comic book movies hitting the big screen over the course of the next few years. One of the most exciting comic book movies coming our way would have to be the new movie Suicide Squad, which opens next year.
Joel Kinnaman is a talented actor
There has been plenty of talk about Suicide Squad, with most of it focusing on Jared Leto as The Joker and Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, as these are obviously two of the most popular characters in the DC universe. However, there are plenty more talented actors appearing in Suicide Squad, playing some very interesting and exciting characters we are very much looking forward to seeing.
One of the most intriguing casting choices in Suicide Squad for us, would have to be the actor Joel Kinnaman playing the role of Rick Flagg. British star Tom Hardy was originally cast in the role, before deciding to pull out of the project, with Joel Kinnaman being brought in as his replacement.

While most of the focus and attention is going to be on Jared Leto and Margot Robbie, we are looking forward to seeing what Joel Kinnaman gives us as Rick Flagg and, while we are not exactly expecting the biggest role for the character, we do believe that Joel is going to absolutely nail the performance.
Suicide Squad will hit the big screen on August 5, 2016 in both the US and the UK.
