It is fair to say that Hollywood actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt is one of the best in the business these days, so it was interesting to see what he would be like as a director, as Joseph made his directorial debut with the movie Don Jon. The film has received a lot of praise from fans and critics alike and gives us a good idea what Gordon-Levitt is like as a director.

With Don Jon due to open in the UK this week, Joseph has been talking about the film and the perception that people have before seeing it. With Don Jon having a pornographic element to it, Joseph was keen to stress that the film was not about porn and that it was just a small element of one of the characters personality.
Gordon-Levitt told Digital Spy, "The truth is it's not a movie about porn, there is pornography featured as a story point. It's a symbol of how this guy can't connect with the women in his life and everyone else in his life - his family, his friends. Scarlett's character, she has grown up on these Hollywood romantic movies and her expectations have been a bit warped due to those."
