The promotion for 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' is continuing to ramp up, with portrait after portrait being released this week. We have till date gotten Effie Trinket [Elizabeth Banks], Caesar Flickerman [Stanley Tucci], Haymitch [Woody Harrelson], Cinna [Lenny Kravitz], Katniss Everdeen [Jennifer Lawrence, Johanna Mason [Jena Malone], and Beetee [Jeffrey Wright].
Now, two new portraits featuring Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark and Liam Hemsworth as Gale Hawthorne have been released. Both of the characters carry white roses in their portraits [reminscent of the new poster released from Catching Fire a couple of weeks back], showing us that the main themes of the book will not be forgotten in the film.
'Catching Fire' takes place over several months, and two major events occur in the story: the Victory Tour - consisting of Katniss and Peeta touring the districts after their Games win, and the Quarter Quell - another Hunger Games where Katniss and Peeta end up going back in through a twist introduced by the Capitol.
The film stars most of the returning cast [except for deceased characters, which includes the Seneca Crane and most of the tributes], as well as a bevy of new characters. The new cast includes Sam Claflin, Jena Malone, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jeffrey Wright, and Lynn Cohen. 'Catching Fire' will be released November 22nd.
