Josh Hutcherson was recently interviewed by Josh Horowitz [via HG Girl on Fire], where he spoke about ‘Catching Fire’ set secrets and spoilers.

Josh also first talks about his favorite stuff that he’s shot so far [they haven’t yet gotten to shoot the arena sequences, which they are now starting in Hawaii], saying, “The reaping. The reaping stuff we did was really powerful, really well written. The extras were so awesome. Like literally, every extra was a very very talented actor. In all the emotional scenes, the background really brought their A-game, so that was that added a lot.”
He also talks about the proposal scene [SPOILER: Peeta proposes to Katniss in ‘Catching Fire’], saying, “Actually, a funny story. When we shot the actual proposal itself, you don’t hear what you’re saying. So I was just saying gibberish… and the very first time I went down on one knee to propose, my pants ripped right down the crotch. The worst thing that could happen when you’re proposing to somebody is that your pants rip right down the crotch and that happened to Peeta. “

He also adds in the end that the arena sequences will be shot in IMAX, and look ‘amazing’. ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ will be released on November 23rd, 2013.
