There has been quite a lot of talk about the split between Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting recently, after the couple announced that they had decided to end their marriage and get a divorce after just 22 months. There has been plenty of speculation as to why they couple chose to split and it has now been claimed that it was due to Ryan having a bit of a drug problem.
A supposed insider told Us Weekly, "She didn't want to get divorced, but felt she had no choice. She couldn't fix him. He wasn't the man she thought he was. He was clean when she met him and honest about past troubles, but then he'd relapse. She got tired of the ups and downs. She supported him, but she said he couldn't make the commitment to get sober."
The source added, "He'd tell her he was working on it, and instead go and get wasted. Kaley told friends doctors prescribed something that he was taking too much of. That was when it went downhill. She decided to pull the plug. She is so down about any kind of future relationship. Kaley is devastated. She can't believe this is happening. She really did think it would be forever."
While Kaley Cuoco will no doubt be devastated at the breakdown of her marriage, she has plenty to take her mind off of things, especially with her acting career. Kaley continues in her role as Penny in the hit CBS series The Big Bang Theory, while she also voices the character Eleanor in Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip, as well as the movie Burning Bodhi.
