Following the news that Batman will appear in the Man of Steel sequel, which is being called Batman vs Superman or Superman vs Batman or whatever, it could be sometime before we get to see a new stand alone Batman movie. After all, the Batman in the Man of Steel sequel will surely be the Batman for the Justice League movie.
Katee Sackhoff to play Harley Quinn?
With that said, we could well get a Batman stand alone movie in between the two and there is a Batman villain waiting to be adapted for the big screen and that is Harley Quinn. Now, actress Katee Sackhoff has admitted that she would love to play Harley Quinn in a Batman movie.
Katee told Esquire, "I love Harley Quinn. I do. I just love it. It's not been done before. It's this fantastic mix. I mean, it's like the female Joker. Who wouldn't want to do that? Quite potentially — it's not around so I wouldn't feel the weight of it — I'd probably sell my first born at this point to do that."

DC and Warner Bros. are doing all that they can think of, in a bid to catch up with Marvel, who own the comic book movie scene. There is the Arrow television series, as well as a planned The Flash television series and the much talked about Wonder Woman plans. We look forward to seeing what DC and Warner Bros. come up with in the coming years.
