Kiefer Sutherland, star of hit TV series 24, has agreed to join the cast of the upcoming movie ‘Sleight of Hand’. Sutherland, whose string of hit movies include ‘The Lost Boys’ and ‘Young Guns’, will reunite with director Brad Mirman who worked on crime series The Confession with the actor.
The film has already signed up a list of actors including Eric Carpenter, Thomas Jane, Til Scweiger, Johnny Hallyday and the legendary Gerard Depardieu. The film is about a gang of small time bank robbers who unwittingly steal a priceless coin belonging to a big time French gang boss.
Sutherland revealed recently that there will be a feature film of 24 released in 2012 but did admit that he and director Ron Howard were still working on finding the perfect script. Fans of Sutherland can look forward to seeing him next in upcoming movie Melancholia, co starring Kirsten Dunst.
