Hollywood veteran Kiefer Sutherland was the star of the hit television series 24, in which he played the hero Jack Bauer, and since the show ended, there has been a lot of talk about a 24 movie being made. Kiefer has now given a brief update on the state of 24 the movie, admitting that he doesn't actually know what is going on with the project.
During a recent interview with Collider, they asked him about the state of 24 the movie, to which he replied, "I have no idea. I’ve tried to help that along. There’s a lot of moving parts to it. It’s not something that I’m actively pursuing, but if it were to ever happen, that would be great."
Collider then went on to ask Kiefer if he would definitely be involved with 24 the movie, if the project was to get the green light. Sutherland responded, "Yes, I will not be the reason it doesn’t get made."
Kiefer Sutherland can next be seen on the big screen, starring alongside Kit Harington, Emily Browning and Jessica Lucas in the movie Pompeii. Pompeii will be directed by Paul W.S. Anderson and is set to be released on February 28, 2014 in the US.
