This 37-year-old Scottish model of porcelain skin stated that while growing-up, her mother took extreme care of her hair; she used to comb it with a lot of precision and wouldn’t let Kirsty use a blow-dryer. Instead, she used to tell Kirsty that the wind would take care of it the natural way. Kirsty's mother past away when she was 16, so since that day, she decided to honor her mother by letting her hair go uncut.
Over the course of Kirsty's modeling years, hair stylists used different heating tools on her golden tresses and applied various chemical induced products to achieve different hairstyles, which in the long run, caused her locks to undergo some serious damage; therefore, one day she decided to let a famous hair stylist give her a shorter cut.

Nowadays, Kirsty is not planning, anytime soon, on obtaining any more haircuts, because now, her hair is free of damage and it's at the same length as it was at 16. Mrs. Hume's says that she owes her hair reparation to her mother's tips and to the natural shampoos, conditioners and hair coloring systems that she's been using for quite some time now.
