It has been reported that Australian singer Kylie Minogue has alerted the police about a stalker who has been making threats towards her via the social networking site Twitter. Kylie did not go into detail about what the stalker had said but she was clearly very worried by the threats and has brought in the police to try and get to the bottom of it.
Minogue took to her official Twitter account to reveal the love she has for all of her fans. All that is, except for the stalker, who Kylie informed she has taken police action against. She tweeted, “I love 1,033,861 of you LOVERS, but 1 is not a lover, just a deluded weirdo making threat #andthatdoesnotmakeyouspecial So..police alerted.”
It is not the first time that Kylie Minogue has had malicious threats from a strange stalker. Way back in 2003, Kylie revealed that she had received a number of disturbingly threatening letters. To make matters worse, the letters were sent directly to her home address, which means that the stalker knew exactly where she lived. Now that the police have been alerted about this latest stalker, a full investigation should be set to go ahead.
