It has been reported that McLaren driver, and former World Champion, Lewis Hamilton has snapped at Felipe Massa following the Singapore Grand Prix. Lewis has also been locked away in his motor home since the race came to end and following the scuffle with Massa.
During the race Hamilton tried to go past Massa but Massa held the race line and turned into the corner first. However, Lewis then turned in too early catching Massa. This took off half of Hamilton’s front wing and also caused a puncture to the rear of Massa’s car.
Hamilton ended up finishing the race in fifth, while Massa ended the race back in ninth. After the race Felipe Massa approached Lewis Hamilton and grabbed him. Hamilton shrugged him off and snapped “don’t you touch me” before turning to the waiting press and saying “I’m gonna need a minute”. He then went into his trailer and has yet to return.
