Liam Neeson has pleased everyone involved with pre-production of Taken 2 as he has 'more or less' signed onto the role again following the 2008 success he experienced with the first movie.
Sources say that Neeson has "all but signed the contract" to take the leading role to the sequel to Taken despite word being strong that he was no longer interested in the role.
Rumours started after Neeson was insisting that he be allowed to take the rest of the year off to concentrate on his family. The director Luc Beeson was reported to be in consideration of recasting the role of Bryan Mills, the retired government agent who Neeson played in the first Taken.
Being that Neeson is one of the World's most sought after Movie stars right now the film has been delayed on filming until early 2012 to allow Neeson the time off he desires. The success of the first movie had writing immediately underway coming up with suitable sequel.
Taken 2 will start filming in January/ February 2012.
