We have seen a whole host of different stars in the entertainment industry having beef with one another over the years and, while some of these arguments have been very petty and pointless, there have been others that do actually have a point and a reason. One of the most recent celebrity war of words was between singers Nicki Minaj and Iggy Azalea.
Nicki Minaj writes her own lyrics
It was a few months ago now, that Nicki Minaj was making her acceptance speech at the BET Awards, when she made a comment about writing her own lyrics, hitting out at those singers who have other writers come in and pen songs for them. Many people believed that this was a dig aimed at Iggy Azalea and now fellow artist Lil Debbie has given her views on the rift.
In an interview with Vlad TV, Lil Debbie explained, "I think Nicki Minaj gets more attention over Iggy Azalea any day of the week. I think Iggy gets a lot of attention because of what she looks like…I feel like Nicki did because she might have felt a little threatened. It made Nicki look a little weaker, I think. Taking a shot at Iggy."

She added, "Do we even know if that was really for Iggy? Was it for Iggy? I don’t know…Is she taking a shot at me? You know what I’m saying? Are you talking about me, girl? Because not everything is written by you, but I mean, it’s cute. Like I respect it. I think a majority of Nicki Minaj’s shit is written by her. Probably like 90 percent."
