The X Factor has brought us plenty of reasonably successful acts over the years, but it is probably fair to say that there has never been an act that has been as huge and successful as the boyband One Direction. Following their formation on The X Factor, where they finished third on the show, One Direction went on to become arguably the biggest boyband of all time.

These days, the One Direction boys have all gone their own separate ways and are focusing on their solo career, although it seems that things have sometimes been a little hard for Louis Tomlinson over the years. Louis has admitted that he has struggled with his fame but that he has used it to help him become a better song writer.
Tomlinson was talking about his fame, when he explained, "I've struggled with the concept of fame. It's hard for anyone to get your head around. It was important to me to write a song that could humanize me as much as possible and that the fans can really feel I'm just like them. Honest and vulnerable and real."

He then went on to talk about his new music, adding, "It's very autobiographical and obviously about me. The important thing to me was that, I've read a lot of press stories about myself and the press and everyone naturally puts this spin on fame and celebrity, and I kind of just wanted to show the other side of it."
Well you've not done too badly Louis, and we cannot wait to hear some more new music from you in the future.
