Following the huge success of comic book movies on the big screen, as well as a fair amount of impressive television shows adapted from comics, it is no surprise that there are plenty more comic book characters coming to the small screen. One of the new comic book characters heading to our television screens is the popular Constantine, which is coming to NBC.

Lucy Griffiths has been cast
There has been a lot of talk about the Constantine television series since it was announced that it had been given the go ahead, with rumours about the potential cast members, with Matt Ryan being rumoured to have landed the lead role. While that has yet to be officially confirmed, there has been confirmation of some new cast members added to Constantine.
It was recently announced that talented British actress Lucy Griffiths (True Blood) will play female lead Liv, while the impressive Harold Perrineau (Lost) will play Manny, while and Charles Halford (True Detective) will play JC's longtime pal Chas. That is some very solid casting and we certainly look forward to seeing Constantine on our television screens.

Harold Perrineau will also star
While those of you who are fans of Constantine will already be familiar with the character Chas, it does appear that both Liv and Manny are new characters that have been created for the television series. The Constantine TV series will be produced by Daniel Cerone and David S. Goyer and is expected to premiere on NBC later in the year.
Are you looking forward to seeing the Constantine television series and are you happy with the actors and actresses who have been cast?
