There was once a time when, no matter who you were or where you lived, when people were to talk about the comic book character Wonder Woman, then you would instantly think of the beautiful television star Lynda Carter, who played the role with great success for many years. So, with that in mind, it was always going to be difficult for any new actress to take on the role of Wonder Woman on the big screen and make it her own.

With that said, actress Gal Gadot has appeared as Wonder Woman on the big screen on three occasions now and has managed to impress every time, so we are all very excited to see her appearing in the Wonder Woman sequel. Now though, it sounds like we have even more of a reason to be excited for that new film, as director Patty Jenkins has suggested that we could well see Lynda Carter appearing in Wonder Woman 2.
Jenkins was asked about the possibility of Lynda Carter appearing in Wonder Woman 2, when she said, "We’ll see. Lynda is one of the dearest people to us, has been a great mentor and dear friend. And we actually desperately tried to get her in the first one and we had the scheduling that couldn’t work, so she’s always been a part of our Wonder Woman family. We won’t say anything yet, but we certainly—there’s no lack of trying."

As well as getting to see Gal Gadot back on the big screen as Wonder Woman, and getting to see Lynda Carter appearing in the movie, we are also interested to see which other DC comic book character will appear in the Wonder Woman sequel, which is set to hit the big screen on November 1, 2019.
