Every year we have a number of different celebrity break ups and divorces and this year has been no different, with plenty of high-profile splits happening over the course of 2014. One of the most recent celebrity break ups is that of Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon, who split amid rumours that he cheated on her. Now, it has been claimed that Mariah is looking to move on from Nick, by asking Nas to hook her up with one of his friends.
Happier times for the couple
A supposed insider was chatting to the US publication Us Weekly, when they claimed that the 44-year-old singer has "texted Nas, wondering if he had any friends she could go out with — or even just hook up with. But Nas is nervous to introduce her to anyone."
It is not the first time that Nas has been mentioned when it comes to the relationship of Mariah Carey, as it was suggested that the two stars were having an affair last year, although the rumours did not bother Nick Cannon at the time, when he said, "[Nas is] a friend of mine, he's a friend of hers. She went to his birthday party, and I think it was in L.A. We actually talked about this before. It'd be very difficult to make me jealous."

While it seems that Mariah Carey is turning to her friends to help her move on from Nick Cannon, the America's Got Talent host has taken different measures, by having the tattoo of Mariah Carey's name covered up. So it looks like both Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are moving on with their lives.
