It has been reported that actress Megan Fox was actually fired from the Transformers franchise and did not quit, as she claimed. Megan suggested that she quit Transformers to follow other acting avenues and Shia LaBeouf recently gave his views on why she quit.
However, director Michael Bay has revealed that Fox was in fact fired from starring in the third instalment of Transformers. Apparently, executive producer, Steven Spielberg demanded she be sacked after she allegedly claimed that Michael Bay runs his set as if he is Hitler. Michael Bay confessed, 'You know the Hitler thing. Steven (Spielberg) said, fire her right now.'
Megan Fox has since been replaced for the third Transformers movie by British model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who will play Shia LaBeouf’s new love interest. Shia LaBeouf will once again reprise his role as Sam Witwicky. Transformers: Dark of the Moon will be released on June 29.
