As the slowly but surely begins to draw to a close, talk begins to turn to the Oscars 2015, with many stars already being tipped to land an Oscar nod for next year, despite their movies yet hitting the big screen. The Toronto International Film Festival has given us a look at plenty of upcoming films, with some fantastic performances along the way.

Michael Shannon stars in 99 Homes
One impressive film to appear at the Toronto International Film Festival is the movie 99 Homes, which stars Michael Shannon alongside Andrew Garfield. Following the showing of the movie, many people have tipped Michael Shannon to land an Oscar nod, as he puts in a truly fantastic performance in the role, impressive both fans and critics alike.
We are sure that there are plenty of you have already heard a lot of good things about 99 Homes by now but, for those of you who wish to know more about the movie, it has been officially described as "A father struggles to get back the home that his family was evicted from by working for the greedy real estate broker who's the source of his frustration."

Andrew Garfield is also in the film
As well as seeing a very impressive performance from Michael Shannon in 99 Homes, we also get a great performance from Andrew Garfield, while the rest of the cast, including in the likes of Laura Dern, Tim Guinee, J.D. Evermore, and Noah Lomax, are also solid. 99 Homes is directed by Ramin Bahrani, who also worked on the script for the project, with the movie hoping to open in time for some Oscar nods.
