It almost feels like a distant memory now, when we were talking about the young, sweet and innocent actress Miley Cyrus in the hit television series Hannah Montana. These days there is certainly nothing sweet and innocent about the singer Miley Cyrus, as she continues to take her onstage raunchy antics to new levels, especially on her new Bangerz tour.
While Miley recently claimed that she was doing these overly raunchy shows to show some of her young fans what they are missing in their sheltered lives, it seems like her plans are beginning to backfire a little. Miley has received a lot of criticism for her recent Bangerz tour performances, with a whole host of parents complaining about the raciness of her act.
While Miley Cyrus generally seems to come across as very thick-skinned person, it seems that the recent negativity is actually starting to get to her. Miley recently took to her official Twitter account to reveal, "I don’t think people realize how much energy I put into my shows & how much their bad energy brings me down."
While concert promoter Live Nation has insisted that there is no danger of the Miley Cyrus Bangerz tour being cancelled, Forbes have confirmed that the ticket sales have stalled recently and that the prices have also dropped dramatically on the secondary market. This has resulted in there being a lot of empty seats at many of the Miley Cyrus gigs.
Maybe this will make Miley Cyrus realise that what she is doing is not what everyone (if anyone at all) actually wants to see. Tone it down a bit Miley.
