Actress Mischa Barton is one of those stars who came onto the acting scene at a very young age, going on to enjoy plenty of success along the way, before then struggling with the fame and fortune, going off the rails, and seeing her career fall away somewhat. However, Mischa seems much happier these days and much settled in her life, putting those demons behind her.
At the moment, Mischa Barton can be seen on the hit television series Dancing with the Stars, where she is one of the contestants to watch. Mischa has been teamed up with the very impressive Artem Chigvintsev on the show and she has opened up about their relationship and how it has developed as they have got to know one another.
Barton was chatting to People magazine, when she explained to them, "Artem is very serious in rehearsals - with Russian being his first language, I have a hard time telling if he doesn't understand my jokes or he just doesn't think they're funny."
She added, "But at first he was very careful with how he gave me criticism. 'Once I told him I could handle a tough critique, he definitely did not hold back. I respond well to criticism, but there is a balance between criticism and support that we are still working to find."
Being big fans of The OC, it is nice to see Mischa Barton back on our television screens and we hope that her success on Dancing with the Stars could lead to the actress landing some more top acting roles in the future.
