AS Monaco are believed to be ready to launch a bid for Manchester United's winger Nani, reports are suggesting. New Monaco owner Dmitry Rybolovlev is well aware of the Portuguese's contract status and will not waste any time before making a formal bid for the player. It is believed Nani's agent Jorge Mendes, who is also the agent of Atletico Madrid's striker Radamel Falcao, is working closely with the rich owner.
The player's agent is about to deliver a world class striker to the Monaco based club. He has also recommended the signing of Porto duo Joao Moutinho and James Rodriguez for a fee of €60 million. Monaco are slowly building a team which will challenge for the Ligue 1 title next year and Nani is seen as one of fhe crucial pieces of the team as they are looking to sign a wide midfielder.
Nani has recently been called up again by the Portuguese national team to face Russia in what promises to be a crucial World Cup qualifier in Lisbon next month. The 26-year-old Nani didn't have the best of seasons at United, partially due to injury and was dropped out of the squad in their matches against Israel and Azerbaijan.
