It is that time of year again, where the Christmas songs begin to play anywhere and everywhere and the Christmas decorations begin to go up in homes all over the country, as well as in city centres and many other places. However, not everybody celebrates Christmas, with there being a strong Jewish community, who instead celebrate Hanukkah.

One of the most famous Jewish people in the entertainment industry today, would have to be the beautiful and talented actress Natalie Portman, who has been talking about the holiday season. Natalie has revealed how this year will be the first year in her whole entire life, that she will be putting up a Christmas tree, and the reason is rather sweet indeed.
Portman explained, "I celebrate Hanukkah, I'm Jewish, but my husband's family celebrates Christmas. So we usually do Hanukkah at ours and Christmas at theirs. But this year it's the same time, which is really nice! My whole life, no Christmas tree, and then all of the sudden they have this great excuse. It's like every Jew's secret wish to have a Christmas tree... It took 35 years to get here!"

As far as her acting career is concerned, Natalie Portman can next be seen on the big screen, starring in the titular role for the new movie Jackie, which is set to hit the big screen on December 2 in the US, before then opening in the UK on January 20, 2017. Natalie recently spoke about the movie, revealing why she agreed to star in the new movie.
