There have been a lot of artists over the years who have taken their relationships and used it to help them write a new song, you only have to look to the career of Taylor Swift to see just how successful this method can be. So, when somebody writes a song about the opposite sex, it is automatically assumed that the song must be about an ex.

Big Sean with Naya Rivera
That has been exactly the case with the Big Sean song IDFWU, with many people suggesting that the song is based on his past relationship with Naya Rivera, who married Ryan Dorsey just months after splitting with Big Sean. However, Big Sean has now opened up about the track IDFWU, insisting that it has nothing to do with Naya Rivera and is pure coincidence.
Big Sean was a guest on the radio show On Air with Ryan Seacrest, when he explained, “I was honestly just putting myself in a perspective. As an artist, you just kinda have to do that, sometimes. It’s funny how records sometimes relate to you later on, sometimes they don’t. Obviously, ['IDFWU'] kind of is my situation."

Big Sean with Ariana Grande
Naya Rivera is not the only one who has moved on with her life though, as Big Sean has been dating singer Ariana Grande for a few months now, with the couple looking very happy together. It is nice to see that two ex-lovers can both move on with their lives, without having to get into a public war of words with one another.
Do you think Big Sean and Ariana Grande make a cute couple?
