Hollywood actor Neil Patrick Harris has been in the acting industry for many years now, taking on some very interesting and exciting roles on both the big screen and the small screen along the way. In his younger years, Neil become best known for his role as Doogie Howser, before then going on to play the role of Barney Stinson in the hit series How I Met Your Mother.
Now, it looks like Neil Patrick Harris is going to take on another big role in a new and exciting television series, which will require the actor to channel his inner Jim Carrey. Back in 2004, we saw Jim Carrey appearing in the movie Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, with Jim giving his usual over the top performance as Count Olaf. Now, Neil will take on the same role in the new series.
The new Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events television series has been in the works for a little while now and, as they have brought on such a talented star in the lead role, it looks like this could be a big hit. We look forward to seeing who else gets cast in this new small screen adaptation but with Neil Patrick Harris on board, we are sure it will be a success.
The small screen version of Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events is set to begin shooting later in the month, with the show due to get it's release exclusively to Netflix. We cannot wait to see what they come up with for this new television series and we are keeping our fingers crossed that it will live up to our expectations.
