Evangeline Lilly stars in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey was released last year and grossed a massive $1.02bn worldwide and the sequel The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug is out this year. While many of the stars of the first The Hobbit return for the sequel, there will also be some new faces.
One such new face is that of former Lost star Evangeline Lilly, who takes on the role of the original character Tauriel the elf. Now, a new image of Evangeline in her The Hobbit role has been released and she makes one stunning elf.

You can see Evangeline Lilly in the role of Tauriel in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, when the movie is released on December 13 in both the US and the UK. Then, The Hobbit trilogy will be completed, with the release of The Hobbit: There and Back Again, which opens on December 17, 2014 in the US and December 19, 2014 in the UK.
