After being initially leaked a couple of hours ago, it looks like the studio went, ‘Oh, what the heck’, and decided to release the final theatrical poster for 'Iron Man 3' officially. It’s rumored that the poster was supposed to release right before the new trailer, which is set to come out on March 5th. However, as it released today, there are a few spoilers and interesting tidbits to take away from it.

Anyone who’s a big fan of the Iron Man comics are aware of the storyline that they’re exploring in this film: more specifically, the Extremis storyline. Knowing that, the poster reveals some pretty big spoilers, but spoilers that were set to be revealed in the trailer either way.
The poster shows Robert Downey Jr. in his Iron Man costume, looking beaten down, weary, and angry. Surrounding him are multiple different Iron Men in the sky, with his home being destroyed on the left in a fiery explosion [a scene that’s played out on the trailer already]. The scene on the poster is said to be the finale of Iron Man 3, with Stark having built himself multiple Iron Men to help him fight. Of course, nothing's confirmed until the movie releases but that's the unofficial word going around right now.
On the top, we see the major cast of the film, including Downey Jr. of course, and then Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, and Ben Kingsley. It’s interesting that they haven’t put Rebecca Hall on the poster, but that could be because they’re trying to keep her character under wraps to surprise the fans. ‘Iron Man 3’ is fast approaching, and releases on May 3rd, 2013.
