Michael Bay is notorious for swapping out female leads in his Transformers movies, really making them appear interchangeable, and the fourth Transformers movie is no exception to this method. Nicola Peltz, of Bates Motel, is the next leading lady to act next to Mark Wahlberg in Transformers Age of Extinction. Bates Motel has transcended her into the spotlight and Transformers will likely transform her career from into something more.

Nicola Peltz is coming of age now
Unlike Megan Fox and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Nicola won't be playing someone's love interest in Transformers 4, but rather the daughter of Mark Wahlberg, who plays a mechanic. From set stills, it seems like Nicola is enjoying herself while filming in exciting locations like Hong Kong among others.
Nicola Peltz isn't new to acting in film or television, like her IMDB would suggest with her limited roles. She had starred in the M. Night Shyamalan directed Avatar : The Last Airbender, as well as the highly popular TV series, Bates Motel on A&E. Nicola played Katara in The Last Airbender and currently plays a sneaky, hard to tell teenage girl (named Bradley) who has the occasional tender emotional moment opposite Freddy Highmore in Bates Motel.

Big things are expected of Nicola Peltz
Bates Motel was renewed for a second season and Transformers will hit theaters sometime in 2015. Be on the lookout for Nicola Peltz as she is a rising teenage star that could become an A-list actress in the coming years with the right roles and director combinations.
