One Direction are a boyband who are very much at the top of their game, with an ever increasing fan base around the globe and experiencing huge success in the US. However, there is an underlying issue within the band, which could be tearing them apart.
Ever since One Direction were first put together on The X Factor, there have been rumours that some of the boys are gay. Louis Tomlinson has been accused of being gay by many people, while there have also been rumours that he is in a homosexual relationship with Harry Styles.
While the One Direction boys make fun of the rumours and shrug them off in public, it seems that they are actually causing friction within the band. Liam Payne, Zayn Malik and Niall Horan are said to be annoyed with Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson for playing up to the gay rumours.
An insider explained, “The rumours of Louis and Harry being gay are continually fuelled by the two boys themselves, with talk of having crushes on each other and T shirts declaring their love for each other. The rest of the boys are annoyed by it and would prefer them to just ignore it. The issue is causing real friction among the boys.”
There have been suggestions that the group could separate with Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles becoming a duo, while the others form a three piece. The One Direction bubble could be well and truly burst.
