Former boxer turned Golden Boy Promotions founder, Oscar De La Hoya has issued a warning on his Twitter page following the death of Jackass star Ryan Dunn. Ryan Dunn died after crashing his car in the early hours of Monday (June 20) morning. He was believed to be drunk and speeding.
De La Hoya tweeted, “I just found out about Ryan Dunn!holy s*%t you see what this disease can do. It waits for you, outside your door every morning....R.I.P.” Then after a backlash from fans who assumed Oscar was accusing Ryan Dunn of taking drugs, he then tweeted, “I'm talking about alcohol”.
Oscar De La Hoya became one of boxings all time greats, winning 10 world titles at 6 different weights. He has also made more money than any other boxer in history, believed to be around $696 million for pay per view income. Ryan Dunn was one of the stars of the Jackass TV show and also appeared in the three Jackass movies. He died age 34.
