British actress Patsy Kensit was once married to former Oasis frontman, who is now the lead singer of Beady Eye, Liam Gallagher and she risked a lot to try to make their marriage a success. Patsy has revealed how she was offered the role of Ross's girlfriend Emily in the hit US series Friends, which she turned down to try and save her marriage.

The Mirror quote the British star as saying, "Friends was an offer you didn’t pass up. But I couldn’t commit to it. I knew I needed to be at home if my relationship with Liam was going to survive. It was already a struggle keeping things together with his touring schedule. I was madly in love and I chose my marriage over the job."
Despite turning down the role, Patsy Kensit was offered a short, three-month stint on Friends, before again rejecting it, with Helen Baxendale eventually being cast. Unfortunately for Patsy, rejecting the role in Friends did not help to save her marriage, as she and Liam Gallagher eventually split up.

Patsy rejected the role
Liam had numerous affairs and, although she admits that she regretted it, she decided to bring their marriage to an end. Patsy Kensit and Liam Gallagher have 14-year-old son Lennon Gallagher together, who is named after the late, great John Lennon.
