The Marvel Cinematic Universe is absolutely massive and continuing to get bigger and better every year, with a number of new characters coming to the big screen in the future. British actor Paul Bettany made his debut as The Vision in the hit Marvel movie Avengers: Age of Ultron, a role which he will reprise for the upcoming film Captain America: Civil War.

While we have seen plenty of material to suggest we know exactly which side The Vision will be on in the movie, with the character seeming to be on the side of Tony Stark aka Iron Man, it seems that things might not be as simple as that. Paul Bettany has now opened up about what to expect from the movie and Paul has suggested that The Vision could be tempted over to the other side.
Bettany explained, “It’s going to be a lot of fun.I think it’s really interesting, the way that a huge, epic superhero extravaganza is discussing a really interesting question, which is about people unilaterally going into other people’s countries and their intervention there. It’s actually an interesting thing to talk about in a massive forum like that.”

He added, “What I love about my character is that there are so many places for him to go. I think he’s very interested in what it means to be human and what love is. The only way one can guarantee one’s loyalty is love. Loyalty is beyond logic, really. Logic doesn’t really provide for loyalty. If your logic changes suddenly and things not make sense, you can alter your allegiance, but love stops you from being able to do that."
Captain America: Civil War is set to hit the big screen on April 29, 2016 in the UK and May 6, 2016 in the US.
