Following the recent behaviour of Miley Cyrus, what with her raunchy performance at the MTV VMA's and her music video for the single Wrecking Ball, everybody seems to have an opinion on her. The general consensus has been that she is going off the rails, which is something that Paul McCartney does not agree with.

Miley Cyrus giving an interesting performance
Paul was talking to Sky News, when he told them, "I don't think it was explicit at all. You couldn't see anything. I watched it as an experiment to check, but you look at it and you say, 'What's everyone shouting about?'"
He added, "She's a young girl - she's like only 20 or something - and she's just having a go. Someone said to me that the world that people like Miley live in is all noise and they've got to get above the noise. So they've got to do something."

Paul McCartney has defended Miley Cyrus
Whatever you think about Miley Cyrus recent behaviour, there is no denying that it has certainly helped her music career, as she found herself doing the UK Chart double. Miley was number 1 on the UK album chart for Bangerz, while her single Wrecking Ball took top spot in the singles chart. Congratulations Miley Cyrus.
